Privacy, Russia and China are top-of-mind issues for lawmakers

Members of Congress continue to gather input and are maneuvering around how to craft privacy legislation, while the issue of Russian election interference made an explosive appearance on the Senate floor this week.

And, with China issues front of mind for lawmakers, the House Intelligence Committee has announced a May 16 hearing on “China's Digital Authoritarianism,” a subject line that could cover a vast array of cybersecurity topics.
