President's signature on defense bill will start clock on federal IT modernization, cyber effort

President Trump’s impending signature of the 2018 National Defense Authorization Act will kick off a 90-day effort to stand up a new IT modernization board tasked with overseeing cybersecurity of federal IT procurement, as part of the Modernizing Government Technology Act added to the defense measure.
