Peters report: More data, collaboration is needed in support of Biden ransomware initiatives

The federal government needs a fuller picture of the ransomware threat and the use of cryptocurrency to pay off attackers as a precursor to successfully implementing Biden administration ransomware initiatives, according to a report spearheaded by Senate Homeland Security Chairman Gary Peters (D-MI).
