Pentagon officials brief lawmakers on COVID-19 impact on defense IT systems

Pentagon officials have briefed House lawmakers on COVID-19's impact on Defense Department information technology systems, as the pandemic has forced DOD to accommodate teleworking using new IT applications.

DOD Chief Information Officer Dana Deasy and Defense Information Systems Agency Director Vice Adm. Nancy Norton on Thursday briefed the House Armed Services intelligence, emerging threats and capabilities subcommittee, according to Chairman Jim Langevin (D-RI).
