Pentagon develops roadmap outlining zero trust implementation plan

The Defense Department has created a zero trust implementation roadmap with incrementable steps for the services and agencies to take across seven pillars, according to Pentagon zero trust lead Randy Resnick.

The Pentagon published the DOD Zero Trust Architecture in 2021 and created a zero trust portfolio management office within the Office of the DOD CIO to oversee implementation across the department.
