Pentagon adopts ethical principles to guide development, use of artificial intelligence

The Pentagon has announced the adoption of ethical principles for artificial intelligence first recommended by an advisory group last fall, a move meant to guide development of a technology seen as crucial for both defensive and offensive cyber operations.
