NTIA official: Draft 'roadmap' on combating botnet threats expected in September

The Commerce Department has begun the process of writing a strategy -- or “roadmap” -- for implementing recommendations on combating botnet attacks contained in a recent report to the president, with a draft expected in September for feedback from industry and others, according to department officials.
