NTIA highlights supply chain security benefits of Open RAN, backs FCC initiative to support development

The National Telecommunications and Information Administration is registering its support for FCC efforts to understand the benefits of Open Radio Access Networks, and how the technology could open up vendor diversity and offer new ways to secure U.S. fifth generation networks.
