NTIA’s Remaley cites progress and ongoing challenge from botnets, praises industry initiative on IoT security

A tech-telecom alliance on digital security has updated its report on “Internet of Things device security baseline capabilities,” under an initiative that a key Commerce Department official highlights as a prime example of partnership and collaboration against the threat of botnets.
