NIST's Sedgewick calls for scaling regulations to address IoT cyber threat

There is a need to more broadly and uniformly apply cybersecurity approaches across sectors to address vulnerabilities presented by the Internet of Things, according to senior National Institute of Standards and Technology official Adam Sedgewick, referring to the challenges facing the ecosystem of connected devices that cybersecurity professionals said have the power to “change the politics of cybersecurity.”
