NIST tests use of privacy framework with hypothetical 'smart TV' risks

ATLANTA. The National Institute of Standards and Technology conducted a role-playing exercise that involved a hypothetical organization connecting a smart TV, with participants at a NIST workshop here asked to assess what “core functions” of the draft privacy framework would come into play.
