NIST seeks comment on Industrial IoT project focused on renewable energy distribution

Distributing energy from sources such as wind and solar generally requires more automation than traditional sources and increases cybersecurity risks, according to the National Institute of Standards and Technology, which is seeking comment on a project that would include scenarios to address issues of data integrity and malware threats associated with the Industrial Internet of Things.
