NIST seeks comment on guide for data integrity of industrial control systems

The National Institute of Standards and Technology is seeking feedback on a proposed solution to help manufacturers fortify their industrial control systems against data integrity attacks.

NIST’s National Cybersecurity Center of Excellence put out a draft practice guide on Thursday, NIST Special Publication (SP) 1800-10, Protecting Information and System Integrity in Industrial Control System Environments, detailing the agency’s work with industry partners on securing the data-based systems at chemical plans, power generators and other industrial facilities.
