NIST revised guidelines for securing sensitive data awaits OMB final review

The highly anticipated release of the National Institute of Standards and Technology's revised guidelines for “controlled unclassified information” is awaiting completion of an inter-agency review being led by the White House Office of Management and Budget, a NIST official told Inside Cybersecurity on Monday.
