NIST releases draft publication for securing distributed energy power grid resources

A new draft publication from the National Institute of Standards and Technology explores how to secure industrial Internet of Things distributed energy resources on the power grid and proposes a solution for monitoring and detecting suspicious behavior.

The two-volume publication, “Securing the Industrial Internet of Things: Cybersecurity for Distributed Energy Resources,” was released by NIST’s National Cybersecurity Center of Excellence on Thursday.
