NIST plans to develop supply chain framework focused on securing technology from cyber risks

The National Institute of Standards and Technology is starting work on a framework addressing how to secure the technology supply chain that will build on previous framework efforts around cybersecurity and privacy.

The White House announced plans for the framework at a cybersecurity summit on Wednesday featuring 21 CEOs from the financial, energy, water, tech, and insurance sectors, and five education leaders.
