NIST official says cyber framework update will be ‘light touch,’ finalized during first half of 2018

A National Institute of Standards and Technology official says “version 1.1” of the federal framework of cybersecurity standards will be finalized during the first half of 2018, offering “light touch” updates to help public and private organizations improve their cybersecurity.
