NIST looks for ‘big venue’ for rollout of risk management framework, as DHS promotes topic

The National Institute of Standards and Technology is looking for a “big venue” to “showcase” its upcoming Risk Management Framework, a senior NIST official said of the agency's ongoing cyber initiative, which may attract added attention as the Department of Homeland Security positions risk management as key to the federal government's cybersecurity efforts.
