NIST launches update process for small business security publication with request for comment

The National Institute of Standards and Technology has issued a pre-draft call for comments on updating a 2016 publication on the fundamentals of information security for small businesses.

“This revision will focus on clarifying the publication's audience, making the document more user-friendly, aligning with other NIST guidance, updating the narrative with current approaches to cybersecurity risk management, and updating appendices,” according to the Monday call for comments.
