NIST IoT program likely to expand as a result of botnet ‘roadmap’ effort

GAITHERSBURG, MD. The Internet of Things program at the National Institute of Standards and Technology will likely have some new directives following the completion of a “roadmap” being constructed by the Trump administration for mitigating botnet attacks, the NIST official in charge of the IoT program said in wrapping up a workshop here on Wednesday.
