NIST finalizes cybersecurity framework profile for electric vehicle charging infrastructure

The National Institute of Standards and Technology has released the final version of a cybersecurity framework profile for securing electric vehicle charging stations, developed in collaboration with the Energy Department and industry stakeholders.

The publication serves as a “sector-level profile” that applies categories and subcategories from the NIST cybersecurity framework to the context of the EV extreme fast charging (XFC) ecosystem. It was released on Monday.
