NIST enters final stretch for revising privacy framework due out this summer

The National Institute of Standards and Technology is in the final stretch for revising its draft privacy framework to be issued later this summer for public comments, with a final document expected by year's end.

NIST had set a July 19 deadline for feedback from participants at its Boise, ID workshop earlier this month, as well as from other interested stakeholders, with the agency facing key decisions on drafting the privacy framework including whether to have an “integrated” or “separated”...
