NIST advisory board kicks off two-day meeting with review of election security bill

A National Institute of Standards and Technology advisory panel on data security and privacy heard from a congressional staffer on the likely prospects for a pending House election security bill, in a presentation that kicked off a two-day meeting that will conclude with DHS remarks on cybersecurity guidelines for election officials.
