At NIST advisory board, ex-DOD official reiterates CMMC concerns; Romine details wide-ranging cyber efforts

Former Defense Department acquisition leader Frank Kendall walked through his concerns about the Pentagon’s cyber certification program – including the lack of testing prior to implementation – while the National Institute of Standards and Technology’s Charles Romine detailed key cybersecurity initiatives, as NIST’s Information Security and Privacy Advisory Board’s two-day public meeting got underway.
