NIST’s mobile device security team releases draft update to ‘BYOD’ practice guide

The mobile device security team at NIST has released for comment a “bring your own device” practice guide, a proposed second draft to a version of the guidance issued last year.

The second draft of NIST Special Publication 1800-22, “Mobile Device Security: Bring Your Own Device,” was posted Wednesday and is open for comment through Jan. 13. NIST issued the initial draft version in March 2021.
