New type of cloud vulnerability identified by ‘Unit 42,’ Palo Alto Network’s threat hunting team

Palo Alto Networks’ “Unit 42” threat hunting outfit has identified a vulnerability dubbed “Azurescape” that would allow attackers to “break out” of their cloud environment and “execute code” on other users of the same public cloud service, a threat that Microsoft reportedly has addressed before the onset of any attacks.
