New NSA cyber director says adding context to threat information is key priority

The National Security Agency’s new cybersecurity directorate will prioritize collaboration to produce threat intelligence products that provide more context in an unclassified setting, according to the director of the office.

“There's a shift involved,” said Anne Neuberger, who will lead the office officially slated to be stood up Oct. 1. “We've heard a lot of feedback that some of the information we would share, for example IP addresses, are temporary and by the time we share, they're no longer useful.”...
