Navy CIO says he ‘hopes’ for second cybersecurity review as certification plan advances

A senior Navy official said he “hopes” the service will have another cybersecurity readiness review to redeem itself following a largely critical March 2019 report commissioned by the Navy secretary.

“I think we can only improve. The good news is we’ll only go up,” Aaron Weis, the Navy’s chief information officer, told attendees at an AFCEA event in Arlington, VA, on Wednesday.
