National Security Council’s Greene calls on advisory group to take up software assurance, zero trust research

A CISA-led telecom advisory body has been asked by National Security Council official Jeffrey Greene to dig into issues around software assurance and internet resilience, after completing a project on communications resiliency and sending its report to the White House.

Greene, acting director of the NSC’s Cybersecurity Directorate, proposed new study topics and areas of interest at a Thursday meeting of the President’s National Security Telecommunications Advisory Committee, which approved the communications resiliency report to the president on Thursday....
