National Cyber Director Coker teases upcoming software liability proposal

LAS VEGAS. The Office of the National Cyber Director may soon focus on a software liability proposal, according to Director Harry Coker, while also seeking more engagement with industry following ONCD’s Aug. 9 release of a “summary report” on an open-source software initiative that will guide the government’s work to address security issues over the next year.
