Moody’s finds increase in credit impacts from cyber incidents due to attack frequency, sophistication

Potential negative credit impacts of a cyber incident are increasing as the threat landscape evolves and emerging technologies lower the barrier to entry for threat actors, according to a report from Moody’s Ratings detailing factors that can affect the severity of credit consequences on victim organizations.
