Microsoft argues for targeted know your customer requirements for cloud service providers under Commerce Dept. rulemaking

Microsoft identifies issues with implementing new requirements for cloud service providers to keep track of their foreign customers, in response to a Commerce Department proposed rule that focuses on deterring abuse and advancing secure artificial intelligence.
