Legal battle begins on FCC’s net-neutrality repeal with consumer groups raising security concerns

Consumer advocates today launched what is expected to be a major legal battle over the Federal Communications Commission's repeal of net-neutrality rules, arguing the repeal poses risks to data privacy and security, among other concerns.

The FCC's publication of its repeal order in the Federal Register today prompted the legal action.
