Leader on presidential panel says telecom equipment should be tested, certified to manage supply-chain risks

Telecommunications equipment such as routers should be tested and certified as part of the government's effort to manage supply-chain risks to information and communications technology, according to a leading member of a presidential advisory panel, which could become a point of debate as a Department of Homeland Security task force continues to deliberate over potential work streams on the issue.
