Lawyers warn: At-home workers still pose cyber risks of business disruptions

Cybersecurity lawyers are warning that employees who work at home because of the COVID-19 pandemic still pose a risk of business disruptions from ransomware or malware attacks -- even though they are working with personal devices and connections -- while urging companies to follow the same data security and privacy risk-management practices they should have been using prior to the nationwide lockdown.

Even if employees are connecting to the internet at home a ransomware attack that “locks up those computers”...
