Lawmakers press Commerce Dept., FTC to issue post-Privacy Shield guidance

A bipartisan, bicameral group of lawmakers this week urged the Commerce Department and Federal Trade Commission to “expeditiously” issue more guidance to U.S. companies on the recent invalidation of the U.S.-EU Privacy Shield, saying that doing so would mitigate disruptions.
