Law article: China's data security rules mimic California's more than EU's GDPR

China's implementation measures for its Cybersecurity Law released last month are more in line with the California Consumer Protection Act than with the European Union's General Data Protection Rule, when it comes to the handling of “big data,” according to a new article in the National Law Review.
