Language on ‘systemically important critical infrastructure,’ key Solarium recommendation, falls out of today’s markup

The Senate Homeland Security Committee is marking up a passel of cyber and other bills including portions of a sweeping cybersecurity policy measure by Sen. Angus King (I-ME), but language on creating a “systemically important critical infrastructure” designation will not be in the version of the King bill considered today.

Multiple sources said Tuesday that the SICI title in King’s bill will not be considered during today’s full committee markup.
