Landmark ISAC meeting stresses cross-sector sharing to address third-party vendor risks

The second annual meeting of information sharing and analysis centers, or ISACs, stressed the importance of distributing threat information across industry sectors in an effort to address risks from third-party vendors.

“This year, recognizing the potential geopolitical motivations behind attacks and the international aspect of many supply chains,” the Global Resilience Federation which sponsored the event “expanded the scope of the sessions” to discuss third-party risks, according to a spokesman for the group.
