ITI calls for ‘outcomes-based’ approach in development of NIST artificial intelligence framework

The National Institute of Standards and Technology should explore an “outcomes-based” approach when crafting its new artificial intelligence risk management framework, according to the Information Technology Industry Council, which says the agency’s work should be similar to the initial development of the NIST cybersecurity framework.
