IST initiates ‘mini-pilot’ on identifying most effective ways to disrupt ransomware payment ecosystem

The Institute for Security and Technology, which runs the industry-led Ransomware Task Force, in a new “mini-pilot” offers four case studies that test IST’s 2022 mapping of the ransomware payment ecosystem, in order to “identify which kinds of disruption could be the most effective” in countering attacks “and where to apply them in the payment process.”
