Insurance executive rebukes claims firms are propagating attacks by paying ransomware demands

A leading cyber insurance figure is dismissing an idea being underscored in policy spheres, including by CISA officials, that enabling entities’ payment of ransomware demands could actually be perpetuating such attacks.
