Information Technology Industry Council urges policymakers to avoid ‘one-size-fits-all’ in product labeling on cyber

A major technology industry group is offering “first-of-its-kind recommendations” on crafting policies around product labeling for cybersecurity, urging flexibility, engagement with stakeholders and alignment with industry standards as policymakers in the U.S. and abroad consider labels as a way to drive up security.
