Industry lawyers on GDPR: 'Panic is not your friend'

May 25 should not mark a day of calamity for failing to comply with the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation, which would impose tough financial penalties in the interest of protecting the personal information of EU citizens held by companies throughout the world, according to lawyers tracking the regulation.
