Industry emphasizes ‘bi-directional’ info-sharing, liability protection in incident reporting legislation ahead of Senate markup

The Senate Homeland Security Committee marks up legislation today to create a cyber incident reporting mandate for critical infrastructure operators, a measure that takes into consideration industry hurdles while still raising concerns over the strength of its liability protections.
