Industry digital-security alliance releases annual report on botnets, finding staggering jump in attacks during pandemic

An industry group led by USTelecom and the Consumer Technology Association has released its third annual report on botnets and efforts to combat this foundational threat to the digital economy, finding that distributed denial of service attacks have surged amid the COVID-19 pandemic, and offering guidance on “baseline practices and advanced capabilities.”
