Industry-crafted ICT supply chain security standard to debut in late 2021

The Telecommunications Industry Association by the end of 2021 intends to roll out a new independent certifiable standard for improving security throughout the information and communications technology supply chain, which TIA says is designed to address a gap in the current standards landscape for verifying trust.

“The SCS 9001 standard will provide the means for service providers and manufacturers to demonstrate and ensure that their supply chains meet the critical benchmarks needed to mitigate risk of cybersecurity attacks,” TIA said...
