Hunton law firm group details considerations for FTC proposal on ‘commercial surveillance’

Law firm Hunton’s Centre for Information Policy Leadership is urging the Federal Trade Commission to give greater consideration to achieving an “outcome-based approach” in its data privacy and security proposal, while stressing its preference for federal legislation before agencies move ahead with privacy regulation.
