Huawei says it's the U.S. government, not the Chinese tech giant, that's engaged in cyber espionage

As U.S. pressure builds to exclude Huawei products from domestic networks in advance of building out 5G communications networks, the China-based tech giant is pushing back by arguing that it's the U.S. government that has been engaged in cyber espionage, and says claims that the Chinese government can use its products to spy on American citizens belies basic cybersecurity practices and principles.
