Huawei blasts FCC proposed rule in broader constitutional challenge to federal purchasing bans

Tech giant Huawei is blasting a Federal Communications Commission proposal to completely ban U.S. telecoms from using certain China-based products in the buildout of 5G -- expanding on a proposed ban on tapping federal funds to purchase the products -- arguing the plan violates the U.S. Constitution as an overreach by the commission on national security issues reserved for Congress and the president.
